The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Transition Committee in Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin, has inaugurated the party’s office in Madagali Local Government Area, describing the development as a major boost to the ADC’s growing presence in the state.
In a statement issued by the committee’s Head of Media and Publicity, Martins Dickson, Dasin said the opening of the Madagali office reflects the increasing acceptance of the ADC and the readiness of residents to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures.
He commended prominent political figures from Madagali for their decision to align with the opposition party, despite the local government being the hometown of the incumbent governor.
According to him, their move underscores a commitment to democratic principles and the pursuit of alternative solutions to the challenges confronting the people.Dasin urged party members to remain united and committed to collective action, stressing the need to attract credible and influential individuals into the ADC fold. He noted that a stronger party structure is essential to addressing economic hardship and insecurity facing citizens.
He further charged the Madagali leadership to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the forthcoming membership registration exercise.
Earlier, the Chairman of the ADC Transition Committee in Madagali Local Government Area, Yusuf Abubakar, welcomed Dasin and his delegation, assuring them of the local chapter’s resolve to work diligently towards making the ADC the leading political party in the area.
The inauguration ceremony attracted party stakeholders, supporters, and community members, who expressed optimism about the ADC’s prospects in Madagali.
