Abuja, Nigeria – April 10, 2025
In a bold move aimed at strengthening its nationwide grassroots network ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Obidient Movement has appointed Hon. Joseph Enan Maigari as the new Head of Political Engagement under the Directorate of Mobilization.
In a formal acceptance letter addressed to the leadership and coordinators of the Directorate, Hon. Maigari expressed deep gratitude and unwavering commitment to the Movement’s vision of a “New Nigeria.” He described the appointment as “not just a position—it is a sacred duty to the Nigerian people.”
Maigari vowed to leverage strategic political engagement and robust grassroots mobilization to help actualize the presidential ambition of H.E. Peter Obi in 2027. “I pledge to give my best—tactically, intellectually, and physically—to ensure we build a solid, well-coordinated political structure across the federation,” he stated.
His acceptance letter emphasized a collaborative spirit, as he promised to work in unity with all arms of the Obidient Movement to achieve their shared goals. He also signaled a readiness to engage stakeholders, energize grassroots supporters, and build political alliances that can deliver electoral victory.
“Let the old order tremble—because the Obidient generation is organizing. And we are unstoppable,” Maigari declared, echoing the movement’s growing momentum and the call for a political shift in Nigeria.
The Obidient Movement, known for its youth-driven, reformist ideology, continues to mobilize across Nigeria with the goal of transforming the political landscape. Maigari’s appointment is expected to inject renewed energy into its political strategies leading up to 2027.
