One of Adamawa state foremost citizens, technocrat and power brokers, Aliyu Ismai’la, has sent a heartfelt new year salutation to the executive Governor of Adamawa state, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, members of the State Executive Council, members of the State House of Assembly, all traditional rulers across all Political zones in the state and to the entire citizens of Adamawa state, as they mark the new year of 2025.

Alhaji Ismai’la says while citizens must see the need to give thanks to Allah (SWT) for life and good health, they must also cherish and strengthen the unbeatable strength that holds our society together, “Our unity in one of the biggest diversities the world has ever known.”

Aliyu Ismai’la made this known in a press release he personally signed and made available to Rendezvous, Wednesdays.

Ismai’la said, “As we step into the new year, I extend my warmest wishes to His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, members of his Executive Council, the Speaker and members of the Adamawa state house of Assembly, our esteemed traditional rulers, government officials, and the good people of Adamawa state.”

He admonished all citizens to see the new year as “An opportunity to reflect on the past and embrace the future with renewed hope and determination. “

“Let us enter this year with hearts filled with forgiveness, patience, and a commitment to shun religious and tribal discrimination in any form. Our diversity is our strength, and unity is the bedrock of our progress,” he calls on Adamawa citizens.

He prays for the 2025 to be a year full of, “Economic prosperity, where opportunities abound for all, and our collective efforts lead to meaningful development in all sectors.”

He urges all Adamawa citizens to work together for a common goal in order to overcome challenges and to hand-in-hand build a society where peace, and harmony  reigns and all citizens prosper from the good that comes from a united family.

“May Allah (SWT) guide our leaders, bless our communities, and grant us success in our endeavours. I wish everyone a prosperous and fulfilling new year!” Ismai’la said.
