Rendezvous News media will like to bring to the notice of the public that the WhatsApp account of the former Sen. Representing Southern Adamawa, Ahmed Abubakar Mo’Allahyidi has been hacked.
The hackers have since been using the account to solicit for money from friends and family.
The public should kindly ignore any request for funds or transfer which the hacker said he would pay later.
These hackers had earlier today reached the CEO/Editor of this medium requesting for the transfer of N10,000,000.00 to a designated account that he could not undertake the transaction due to network issue but would reimburse immediate things settle down.
We have since reported the matter to Facebook for necessary action.
There is a provision to report a suspicious conversation or a friend’s account when hacked:
- Click on the three dots on the right hand corner of the account (the one suspected to have been hacked, not your account)
- It would open a couple of option which includes report, block etc
- You may toggle either report or block and WhatsApp will do the rest
