Your Excellency,

          CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE

1. When in March 2019 Your Excellency graciously appointed me to head a team of dynamic, forward – looking, focused and committed indigenes of Adamawa state, which you had constituted as members of a Transitional Council saddled with the daunting responsibility of fashioning out a robust road map to serve as beacon for your incoming administration in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of our state bountifully, I had humbly accepted the responsibility to serve on the body. More than five years after, I am glad to observe that the confidence reposed in you by my humble self, and which made me accept to serve on the 2019 Adamawa State Transitional Council, was not misplaced.
2. Today, as the first year of your second term of office is set to run its full course, I congratulate Your Excellency for the remarkable manner in which you have consolidated on the gains of the glorious achievements of your first term to further transform Adamawa state and elevate it to a force to be reckoned with, both within and without, in the pantheon of the most developed states of the federation in the last one year.
3. I salute your resolute commitment to the Infrastructural Development of Adamawa state, particularly how you have consistently used the initiative to promote socio – economic development and generate employment in the state. Through your dynamic leadership in the service of the people of our state, the face of infrastructure development has changed for good across all the three Senatorial Districts of Adamawa state.
4. The series of hitherto abandoned roads projects that you have revived and completed and the legion of new ones you have built as well as the several projects your embarked on and completed in the key areas of provision of water, granting improved access to modern healthcare delivery facilities, extending electrification to many rural areas that had never had access to this basic necessity for decades, improving the face of education, just to mention a few, all speak to the fact that you walk your talk as far as the infrastructural development of Adamawa state is concerned.
5. It is also no exaggeration that you earned your nickname Project Master in tangible and quantifiable deeds, rather than by mere rhetoric and grandstanding, and you have impacted the lives and livelihoods of the people of Adamawa state like it has never been achieved before, making life much better for them.
6. Also worthy of commendation are your visionary initiatives in the critical area of security, which have made Adamawa state safer than you had met it in May 2019. Today, and thanks to your sagacity and admirable acts of statesmanship, there is synergy between the units and formations of the different services of the armed forces as well as security agencies and para – military organizations operating in our state. This heart – warming development has impacted positively on security in the state, with the dreaded Boko Haram insurgency now reined in while wanton acts of criminalities have abated significantly in the state.
7. As your forge ahead onto the next year of your second term of office, I pray Allah to continue to sustain you in good health, grant you the peace of mind required to enable you concentrate fully on the discharge of your tasking responsibilities to the people of Adamawa state without distraction and to further strengthen you in your proven resolve to make the right decisions, as you have always done, when confronted by the need to do so.
