As part of activities to create a better life for Nigerian families through the Renewed Hope Initiative social investment program, the symbolic presentation of fabrics to support the Bussinesses of women in politics was flagged off by the wife of the Vice President, Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Shetima, Wednesday 22nd of May at the headquarters of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Abuja.

The Preaident of the Forum of women leaders of the APC in the 36 states and FCT, Patricia Yakubu, led the women leaders to participate in the Renewed Hope initiative social investment program and recieved the fabrics on behalf of the beneficiaries for onward delivery to the 36 States and the FCT.

The National women leader, Dr. Mary Alile thanked the first lady for her determination to touch the grassroots as she unveils the project to boost the bussinesses of women in the party by diatributing fabrics in commercial quantity aimed at making them independent financially and to raise the economic level of their families.

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje underscores the importance of women especially in ensuring victory during elections. Ganduje called for inclusion of women in Governance and political appointments because they are the heart of the party, and as a way of encouraging women and ensuring an enduring reward system.

He thanked the wife of the president, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Vice president, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima for improving the bussinesses of women and building capital base of women in the fabrics bussiness. He called for those in charge of the distribution to be transparent and nationalistic so that the real beneficiaries are not disenfranchised.

Representing the first Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shittima thanked the party for thier support, she called on the women to accept whatever quantity of fabrics provided in good faith and ensure judicious use of it for maximum profit.
She called on the women to look out for each other and support other women.
Nana Shetima underscored the fact that the leadeship of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is genda sensitive and will ensure women inclusion at all times.
