The Federal government has finally mustard the political will to name some persons and some Bureau de Change organisations responsible for terrorism financing in the country.
This is contained in an official X handle of former President Buhari’s Media Aide, Basira Ahmadu, recently.
Bashir said he hoped the perpetrators of these heinous acts would be made to face the wrath of the law.
Nigeria has been listed as one of the most terrorised countries countries in the world.
Nigerians have been questioning the sincerity of government’s claim of war against insurgency as no financier has been apprehended amidst some questionable amnesty for the terrorist while devastated communities lie in ruins.
It remains to be seen if the Tinubu-led government would be able to give the fight against terrorism in Nigeria some punch.
