Over 200+ LP Support Groups Endorse Balami for National Chairman of Party

Over two hundred Peter Obi support Groups have insisted, that engr Isaac Balami should be the next national Chairman of Labour Party (LP) in Nigeria.

The groups while making the clarion call said, Balami has the character, integrity, vision,and competence which reflects the mantra that the Obidient movement and the belief that a new Nigeria is possible.

These groups made this known in a letter they collectively addressed to Peter Obi, Alex Otti, and other Labour Party stakeholders recently.

The groups insisted that Balami has been at the heart of the Labour Party’s struggles in the 2023 elections and has been instrumental in putting several elements that defined the success of the party together.

The groups write, “His Excellency, Peter Obi, His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti, Labour Party.
“Dear Sir,
Over Two hundred (200) Peter Obi Support Groups are Pleading for Isaac Balami to become the Labour Party National Chairman.
“Over two hundred major support groups that championed your presidential bid in the 2023 election are now backing Isaac Balami for the Labour Party National Chairmanship.

“These groups, including ‘the Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO), the Coalition for New Nigeria (CNN), and the Coalition for Better and Brighter Nigeria (CBBN), played a crucial role in mobilizing support for and raising awareness both nationally and internationally.

“Our colleptive efforts were part of a significant political movement known as ‘the Obidient Movement,’ aimed at bringing about positive change in Nigeria.”

They contend that, “Despite our best efforts, the electoral process was marred by irregularities, preventing our vision of a new reformed Nigeria.
“The critical examination of the 2023 general election and the role of the Labour Party leadership in the campaign has heightened interest in the upcoming national convention. Support groups are eagerly anticipating the selection of the next LPs National executives. “

Stressing their bid for Balami they said, “This press release affirms our unwavering support for Chief Engr. Isaac Balami and we urge him to enter the race for National Chairman.
“Engr. Isaac Balami, the Deputy Campaign Manager of the Obi-Datti Campaign Organisation, played a pivotal role during the 2029 presidential election campaigns.

“His collaboration with support groups and stakeholders, such as spearheading the ‘Papa, Mama, Pikin lnitiative and addressing the shortage of LP polling unit agents, showcased his charm, charisma, and strategic acumen.

“Despite tight deadlines and limited resources, Balami’s partnership with support groups on these projects remained strong.”
They further went ahead to emphasise that, a New Nigeria is POSSIBLE with PETER OBI. As the Labour Party faces significant challenges in its current leadership, the upcoming national convention to elect new officials must prioritize credibility, character, and capacity in the selection process.

“Balami, a young and dynamic leader with a people-centric approach, has the financial capacity, fundraising skills, and extensive network to secure necessary funding for the party.

“His transformative visionary leadership qualities make him a unifier who can bring together diverse groups and stakeholders, building a cohesive and harmonious party that represents all segments of society.
Balami’s achievements in the aviation industry have not overshadowed his grounded nature.”

The describe him as a person who”Views wealth as a means rather than an end, remaining emotionally intelligent, humble, and embodying humility that resonates with many individuals.

“In a heartfelt appeal, we plead you to endorse our efforts to back Chief Engr. Isaac Balami and encourage him to answer the call to run for the position of National Chairman.
