Boko Haram Abduct Scores on Northeast Nigeria

Boko Haram fighters are reported to have abducted scores of Nigerians suspected to be around Gambaru-Ngala, a Borno local government neighbouring Cameroon from the Nigerian border.

Although details still remain sketchy as to the extent of damage that the insurgents have caused as a result of this kidnapping.

Government officials in Nigeria were reported to have claimed to decimated the insurgents to about 90% and that most of their fighters have surrendered but this attacks seems to say much on that.

Boko Haram has been operational in the northeast Nigeria Nigeria where it is said to have killed over 40,000 persons with Adamawa, Yobe and Borno and about 2 million persons have been displaced.

Since the abduction of Chibok girls in 2014, the insurgents have added kidnapping to their operations with records showing that they more of girls and women.
