Labour Party chieftain and public affairs commentator and analyst, Joseph Maigari has slammed the President Tinubu-led APC government describing them as rudderless and evidently planned to snatch power but we’re not ready for governance.

Maigari made the remarks in a press statement made available to this medium recently.

He said Tinubu had three months before he was sworn in as president, yet came in with no plan or purpose for Nigeria.

The statement reads, “Tinubu administration never truly prepared for governance.

“With each new policy annoucement, it becomes clearer that the Tinubu administration never truly prepared for governance.

“President Tinubu had three months after the elections before he would be sworn-in as president, and within this window, he would have prepared a clear plan and a path to achieving change, development and progress for Nigeria and Nigerians.

“Unfortunately, what we have seen in the past eight months, as one report has it, “is the Nigerian economy been left in the hands of incompetent economic gamblers, bootleggers, buccaneers and mere bag carriers, toying with the lives of 200 million Nigerians.”

Maigari explained further that, “First, is the ill-thought policy of yanking off the fuel subsidy and devaluing the naira without a single plan for the economy and the survival of Nigerians.

“Now, it’s another ill-thought out policy of the full implementation of the “Orosanya Report” which is nothing but another distraction to cover their incompetence and throw the already battered economy and suffering Nigerians into further crisis by laying off thousands of Nigerians from the civil and public service without creating alternative jobs.

“The question therefore arises for Tinubu and the supporters/defenders of this clueless regime,

“Did the president not know that he would be implementing the Oronsaye Report before creating new ministries and appointing 48 ministers?

“Unfortunately, when the economic crisis worsens with this full implementation of the Orasanya Report which is nothing but another ill thought out showboating policy of this cluess administration aimed at distracting Nigerians from their cluelessness and directionlessness, the government and their ignorant zombified supporters will start gaslighting the masses and blaming them for the worsening economic crisis occasioned by the implementation of the Orasanya Report.

“I pity wilful ignorant federal civil and public servants, high on primitive tribal and party zombism, supporting this yet another wickedness from this clueless regime. They will soon join our “wailing and fake patriots club” when their jobs are gone.”
