The governorship candidate of the PDP in the recently concluded elections has condemned the bombing over 80 residents of Kaduna village gathered to celebrate maulud.
The politician calls for immediate investigation into the killings.

It is with profound sadness and deep concern that I receive the news of the unfortunate incident that unfolded in Tudun Biri Village on Sunday night where innocent citizens gathered for a Maulud event were impacted by a tragic incident where many lost their lives.
Our hearts go out to the affected families, and we express our sincere condolences for the loss of lives and injuries sustained during this regrettable event. The sanctity of gatherings for religious observances must be respected at all times and any harm inflicted on civilians is a matter of great concern.
We note with appreciation the acceptance of responsibility for the incident by the army and call for a thorough and impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate happening to ensure avoidance of future events of this nature. The protection of civilians is of utmost importance, and incidents like these demand a comprehensive review of military protocols to prevent the recurrence of such tragic events.
