Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Thursday received members of the Bwatiye Development Association at the Government House Yola.

The Association was in the Government House Yola to congratulate Governor Fintiri for his second term success at the polls.

Addressing the delegation, Governor Umaru Fintiri thanked them for the visit and assured of his commitment to the betterment of the state.

Governor Fintiri called on Adamawa citizens to support the fuel subsidy removal and elimination of multiple exchange rates by the government.

He assured that palliative measures will be implemented to cushion the effect of the removal on citizens.

In his remarks, the President of the Association represented by Chief James Iliya thanked Governor Fintiri for appointing their sons and daughters in his government.

Among the dignitaries at the meeting were the chief of Staff Government house yola, the Deputy Governor, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, Dr Edgar Amos, the Member representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde Barrister Kwamoti Laori, Chief Joel Madaki, Barr. Jingi, Chief Pwavidon Jaule, and some other prominent bwatiye sons and daughters..
