-Task him on Addressing Nigeria’s Security Challenges

Adamawa PDP starlwart and former organising secretary of APC in Adamawa state, Ahmed Lawal,has extends his heartfelt congratulations to the recently appointed Special Adviser on Security to the president, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as a man whom life and destiny has adequately prepared to carry out the task of addressing Nigeria’s plethora of security challenges.

Lawal said, in the wake of Nigeria’s multidimensional security problems, Ribadu, is a sound, organized and vastly experienced security technocrat that was built for the office of Special Adviser on Security for the incoming president.

Ahmed Lawal made this known in a press statement he personally made available to News Rendezvous, Monday.

Ahmed Lawal said, “As one of the foremost person’s to call for power rotation to be returned to the south and south west in particular, I find it heart warming that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made the right call in choosing Nuhu Ribadu to serve as Security Adviser, and this also justifies my earlier position that power must go to the south west.

“It is my belief that Nigeria must be built on fairness and equity and with Asiwaju as president, and Nuhu Ribadu as Security adviser, Nigeria’s Security Challenges might soon be gone.

“I congratulat Nuhu Ribadu on his appointment as Security Adviser because I believe life and destiny has already prepared him for the office of Security Adviser to the president.

“Having served as the boss of Nigeria’s anticorruption body, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commissions (EFCC), Ribadu has already learned the art of selfless service, Committment to national duty and the daring habit of addressing one of Nigeria’s problems head-on without fear or favour.

“Nuhu Ribadu is a top security officer who is well trained and conversant with the global best practices in the security world and he is in tune with modern-day security practices and solutions that would greatly benefit the Nigerian situation and move the country to state of safety and security wellness.

“As a one time top member of the security echelon of the country, I believe he has the capacity and experience to address Nigeria’s security challenges squarely.

“I congratulate Tinubu for making a daring, bold and pragmatic choice in Ribadu because he is the right man for the job and I am optimistic that he would make Adamawa, and Nigeria proud.”
