Recently, an interview was granted to Senator Cliff Abbo along with the Adamawa State Commissioner for Information about the “Huduism” debacle in Adamawa State where Yunusa Hudu Ari attempted to foist a “civilian coup”and subvert the will of the good People of Adamawa State.
It was rather appalling that the Senator kept deviating from answering very simple questions put across to him by the Channels t v Anchors.He literally left them flabbergasted.
The sad episode of the Senator’s ignoble act of assaulting a married lady in Abuja,leading to his altercation with Sen.Remi Tinubu on National t.v cannot be overemphasized thus, one wonders his moral standing in defending Mr.Hudu. The whole nation saw the depth of absolute desperation by Binani, Adamawa APC and their conspirators .They tried to seize power at all cost but failed.
The fact that Sen.Abbo said the INEC didn’t have the locus standi to suspend the Adamawa State REC, nor void the “civilian coup” shows he was neither abreast of the constitution nor the electoral act.
It is becoming apparently glaring that Sen.Abbo lacks the temerity to parade himself as an astute lawmaker.No wonder the Adamawa State Commissioner of Information said Abbo had not been through a University and lacked the moral audacity to present facts on political developments in Adamawa State.
The PDP Government of Umar Ahmadu Fintri has finally been vindicated .Yunusa Hudu Ari is on the run, but no matter how long he tries to evade justice, eventually, the law would catch up with him.
INEC has disassociated itself from Hudu, Heads of Security Agencies that flanked him during the “coup”have been recalled ,President Buhari has called for the prosecution of those involved and even objective people in the APC have distanced themselves from the actions of Binani and her cohorts .It is obvious Only Sen.Abbo is remaining in the fast sinking boat defending a falacy.
Abbo is often quick to cast aspersions on the PDP administration yet he lacks in-depth knowledge of the basic content of the Nigerian constitution and the electoral act.How then can he function effectively as a lawmaker? It is high time Sen.Abbo woke up from his delusion and realized that politics is not for neophytes…tilapias don’t play where Sharks swim!
