According to Dr.Reuben Abati, “Huduism” has become a new lexicon in Nigeria Political space which defines a situation of the declaration of fake result by an electoral empire while collation is ongoing.It is rather ironic that the individual responsible for such an infamous name was the Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner.Dr Hudu Yari under the directives of Binani and her cohorts.
As usual.truth has finally triumphed over falsehood, light has prevailed over darkness in the Adamawa Gubernatorial elections .Binani and Hudu have become the infamous villains from the whole debacle.
Political and Legal luminaries across Nigeria such as Femi Falana (SAN) ,have called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the culprits notable Senator Aisha Binani, Dr. Hudu Yari and the Heads of Security Agencies in Adamawa State that were allegedly complicit in the whole plot notably the Heads of Security Agencies in Adamawa State .The fact is Nobody is above the law…and nobody should be seen to be above the law.
Fair enough these Heads of Security Agencies have been recalled from Adamawa but beyond being recalled,they must be dully investigated and prosecuted for aiding the first attempted ” civilian coup ” in Adamawa State .Equally important,all those fingered in the “scam” should be bared from holding any public office or appointment in Nigeria to serve as a deterrence.
Worthy of note is the demeanor of the indefatigable Governor of Adamawa State. Ahmadu Umaru Fintri while the whole drama was unfolding .He kept calling for calm amongst the people of Adamawa State to ensure peace is maintained.
As the incumbent Governor ,Fintri could have easily called out his supporters to the streets to protest but he chose the noble path.
He knew there was palpable tension across the state by his overwhelming supporters who wanted to take to the streets in protest against Huduism “coup” But he also knew he had invested so much in building peace and security across the state to risk having a breakdown of law and order.
The Governor knew he had invested tremendously across the state in massive infrastructural development to have his legacies jeopardized and most importantly,he knew Power comes from God!
The despotic desperation of the opposition APC to seize power at all cost almost threw the State into unimaginable crisis and chaos but for the cool and calm nature of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintri.
