



The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was among thousands of Muslims in Hong to celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan fast.
Speaking in an interview shortly after observing the Eid prayers, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri congratulates Muslims in Adamawa and the world over for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
Governor Fintiri appealed to the Muslim faithful to adhere to the lessons learned during the spiritual exercise to champion the course of peaceful coexistence and love for the development of Adamawa and Nigeria.
Governor Fintiri says Nigerians are expected to be patient, persevere, love each other, and cohabit as instructed by the beloved Prophet Mohammed, urging the citizens to live by the dictates of their religion for the overall interest of the nation.
Dr. Bello Imam, a Lecturer at the University of Maiduguri led the two raka’at supererogatory prayers and offered special prayers to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri after presenting the Eid sermon.
