I read a worrisome misplacement of facts on the good person of Bashir Ahmed, the SSG to the government of Adamawa State.

The write up is full of lies and misrepresentation of facts borne to create a rift between the governor and the SSG.

To an ordinary reader, what comes up readily in Ahmed Buba Jimeta’s insincere aspersion on the SSG, is the ambition of a few misguided elements that needed self generated favours at all cost and ending up calling themselves as the stakeholders of Jimeta. One thing Ahmad Buba Jimeta and his manipulating so-called movers of Jimeta politics didn’t know or are deliberately trying to wish away, is the bond of trust and confidence between Gov. Fintiri and his SSG. It can’t be put away as long as there is a government in place. Mallam Buba Jimeta on another note again failed to understand that accusing the SSG of receiving kickbacks and corruption, equally indicts the entire government of Gov. Fintiri in Adamawa state. This uncalculated and unwanted attacks remains senseless. It is entirely a displeasure and disservice simple moral sense of judgement. One wholesale truth is how a sponsored critique of the SSG registered unscrupulous ignorance of anti establishment politicians that are eying the SSG’s office. Their expectations might not be soon realized and their wishful calls to replace the SSG at this moment can not be valid. As a matter fact, this SSG, has added value, probity and sense of direction to Gov. Fintiri’s administration and so deserves to be given a kudos. In addition, he has guided the policies focus on accountability and transparency. Whoever knows Basir, understands him completely as a corruption free citizen that can resign from any unserious set up if there is anything conflicting his conscience and commitment to the faith he holds. May be, his destructors and the sponsors of Ahmed Buba Jimeta seeking to smear the SSG should change the game plan knowing fully well that the bond between the SSG and Gov. Fintiri is inseparable. Mind it too, that Ssg Bashir was Gov. Fintiri’s strategic partner that effectively took over the government from the previous government of Gov. Bindow with all sense of commitment. With this and more of the SSG’s political contributions to Gov Fintiri, it is only a waste of time engaging this criticism coming in as bad energy to the good governance team of the Fintiri. This is only time good enough to commend the able, organized, approachable and visionary leadership qualities of the SSG.
