The DG, Media and Publicity to Governor Ahmadu Umaru FINTIRI, Solomon Kumanga has accused the APC governorship candidate, Aishatu Dahiru Binani, of mobilising security personnel to attack PDP situation room.

Kumanga said, has militarise the elections process by inviting security personnel to cause mayhem in an attempt to induce violence into the elections where the handwriting is already clear on the wall.

Kumangar made the remarks in a press statement made available to this Medium over the weekend.

Kumanga said, “Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri wishes to debunk the humongous mendacity and the monstrous lie pedaled by the Governoship candidate of the All Progressives Congress that a private Residence is being used as a staging point to rig the outcome of the the elections in favour of the PDP.

“Nothing can be further from the truth. For the avoidance of doubt, the property in question, Houses the Situation Room of the PDP Presidential and Governorship Campaigns Council for the monitoring, Documentation and field location Coordination. Furthermore, the Dss, Police and several Security personnel had this evening stormed the Situation Room in gestapo style and turned the place upside down on the excuse that it was being used for clandestine purposes. “

The statement further said, “While the Security personnel, are yet to make their findings public, the Government strongly condemns this act of desperation and intimidation. It is a further proof of the fact that having sensed defeat the APC is clutching at every straw to prevent it from drowning.

“We are compelled to state that the latest act of aggression is meant to provoke the Governor into reacting in a manner that is at variance with His usual Democratic posture.

“We are also aware that in a desperate and futile attempt to prove this false alarm, the APC could use this raid to plant exhibits and turn round to accuse the Ruling party of something that is completely false. Finally, the World is watching and the people Adamawa State will not fold their arms and watch the Mandate that they freely gave to Governor Fintiri to be brazenly truncated.”
