Tentative results from local compilations not INEC shows that the APC Senatorial candidate, Ishaku Abbo, is maintain a slim lead over the PDP candidate, Rev. Amos Yohanna.

Early voting pattern had placed the NNPP candidate, Dr. Abdullahi Belel ahead of other candidates until the late response evening when votes from key swing voting areas shot Sen. Ishaku Abbo into the front runner position with Rev. Amos closely behind.

While the race might not have been decided yet and INEC holds the official right to announce the winners, the handwritings are clearly on the walls for how it is going to go, unless something dramatic happens.
