Sen.Girei Confident Tinubu Will Win Nigeria

An APC Chieftain and former senator representing Adamawa central, Abubakar Girei, says he is highly impressed with the massive turnout for the elections, the entire conduct of the elections by INEC and the secure environment under which he voted in his polling unit and some other polling Units he visited.

Girei said, all the polling Units he visited shows that there has been smooth and fair voting exercise going and we might likely have one of the most credible elections in Nigeria.

Girei made the remaining ka shortly after voting in Girei local government area in Adamawa state.

Abubakar Girei said, Tinubu is in a poll position to sweep the polls in Adamawa and he will soon be declared winner at the end of the elections

The APC starlwart said, “I am hopeful that we will have a peaceful, fair and credible elections in Nigeria because of how Nigerians turned out en masse to vote.

“I was afraid that we would have a voter aparthy because of the hardship Nigerians are going through but surprisingly Nigerians have braved the situation and turned out in their numbers to vote for the candidates of their choice.”

Girei said, “In my polling unit and five other polling units I visited, Nigerians were voting APC, so I am very optimistic that my candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win.”

On whether he thinks the absense of cash would affect APC at the polls, he said, “Nigerians have accept and understood the situation, knowing fully well the APC government had no intentions to make Nigerians suffer like this it is strongly and solely the workings and the responsibility of the central bank

“The policy was not well conceived and thought through. Although it has help in curbing vote buying and money exchanges between voters and political parties but the huge hardship the entire situation has plunged Nigerians into is disturbing, and by far outweighs any good it was supposed to give Nigerians.

“People come to my house to look for N100 naira to move from one place to another and these are people that under normal circumstances would be the ones helping people financially.

“But Nigerians must be commended for standing up for what they believe and for overcoming every odd thrown at them.”
