(READ FULL TEXT) “The Living Has No Business With the Dead” – LP Chieftain Maigari Fires Back at Mustapha

Umar Mustapha Muqaddas And His Goons Are Feather Weight Politicians

The recent gale of defections of gubernatorial aspirant LP (Chameleonic) to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state is a show of shame.

It is rather unfortunate that these fair weather politicians are taking undue advantage of the lack of serious contender’s at the state level of the LP to reposition themselves as APC members so as to curry favour and attract patronage from the APC leadership.
Those who claimed to have decamped from the LP due to purported sidelining and unavailability of funds were beneficiaries of the magnanimity of the Peter Obi movement across Nigeria.

The APC is a dead party that will cease to exist beginning in 29/05/ 2023. So, what business does the living has to do with the dead?

By every indices, the APC has plunged Nigeria into a disaster and February 25th, 2023 will be judgment day.

The forthcoming 2023 presidential election will be a referendum on the dementia-infested APC. Nigerians will among others decide between agents of light and agents of darkness, between a bag of rice at N7000 in 2015 and N50,000 in 2022 under the APC, between PMS at N67 in 2015 and N380/500 under the APC, between $100 minimum wage in 2015 and $40 minimum wage under the APC in 2022.

Nigerians now know better. Only an Peter Obi presidency can and will deliver Nigeria and usher us on the path of prosperity.

Therefore, the APC should note that no amount of propaganda can save the party from defeat in all elections and at all levels.

We insist that we will not miss a sleep one minute over mechinary activities. I have said and I want to repeat, this business of governance must be driven by men and women of honour.

If the only motivation is personal interest, what is the need for me, what have I gained, if that is the basis, the earlier for those in this business for personal gain return to where they belong, the better.

LP and the Youth support groups are not worried at all, we are not disturbed, I am not going to miss my sleep.

Go to the campaign, check the electoral results you will find that a lot of those who claimed to have decamped on a good day, the votes they got that made them get the gubernatorial ticket , Peter Obi is got more than that. So, we are not fooled at all.

The thing going on is that we have a lot of so-called big masquerades with very little or no electoral value.

Umar Mustapha Muqaddas and his goons “spend the weekend” sometimes with power broker’s of APC in the State.

Our party, the LP is here to do the necessary surgery on Nigeria and it starts with party administration. Your party can’t be in bed with the system and you tell Nigerians that you will change the system. That’s deceit of the highest order. It’s not possible.
Expect more transfer window updates.

Every other party will trade your freedom for porridge, not the LP.

Without equivocation it was the movement for a better nation by we the Youths that rekindled hope and redefined our politics.

Obi’s political Campaign style and strategy has reshaped our political landscape to an issue based campaign whilst yet a candidate. He is speaking to Nigerians at home and to those in the Diaspora and the students/Youths in their various campus.

Fellow Comrades, we can make Nigeria great again when we step out in February to elect Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed as President and Vice President.

Do not let the merchants of propaganda, of deceit, of poverty, of hopelessness, of insecurity, of ethnicity deceive you. Do not sell your future for the blood soaked looted monies they throw at you with indignity. And do not vote for those who have left our nation worse than it ever was.

Let us walk together and work together until victory is won. Let us push the message for a New Nigeria until we take back our Country through the power of the Ballot on 25th February 2023. Let us continue to mobilize wherever we are until victory is assured come 25th, February 2023.

Before I drop my pen, I will like to thank everyone from the LP, PCC, Stakeholder, Elders forum , down to the youths for all the logistics and support and the personal sacrifices to ensure that Saturday sings a victorious song for us. We Shall Overcome. Nigeria will rise again. God bless you all.

May God Bless Adamawa and May God bless Nigeria.
