Bill for Fed. University of Education Numan Gets HoRs Concurrence, Thumbs-Up Hon. Kwamoti

The Bill to Establish Federal University of Education Numan gets Concurrence of the House of Representatives.

In what can best be described as a landmark legislative achievement the Bill for an Act to Establish Federal University of Education Numan, Adamawa State gets harmonious concurrence on the hallowed chamber.

The member Representing Numan/ Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti B Laori has successfully facilitated the consideration of report of the House of Reps Committee of the whole towards concurrence of the Senate Bill seeking to Establish Federal University of Education Numan, Adamawa State initially sponsored by Sen. Binos Dauda Yaroe, Adamawa South.

Recall that during the Public Hearing on the Bill, the Reps member promised to ensure the Bill secures concurrence of the House of Representatives, being an important prerequisite for it to be transmitted for assent.

Reacting to the development, a constituents said ” With what has been achieved today, realization of the dream Federal University of Education in Numan, Adamawa State is only a step away and we really appreciate Hon Laori for this gesture “.

This latest achievement has further demonstrated that the member has again displayed his character of integrity by reaffirming that he is a man of his words. His clear passion for education and development of his Constituency is first on his mind and as can be seen he clearly remains undistracted.

In modern day legislation, The effort of the Reps member has further demonstrated the synergy and progressive unity that exist between the Peoples Democratic Party family members.

The electorates of Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency and Adamawa Southern Senatorial are lucky to have matured parliamentarians that are committed to the development and welfare of their people.

Community leaders who appeared happy with this development have posited that it is only wise for electorates of Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency, Adamawa Southern Senatorial Zone to come out en masse to vote for the continuity of their Representatives in the National Assembly

However, The next remaining procedure is for the Clerk of the National Assembly to forward the Bill to HE Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for assent.
