The president of a popular Church in Adamawa State known as Ekilisiyan Yan Uwa A Nigeria (EYN) Reverend Joel Billi, has lauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s achievements in past 3 years in office and pray for his reelection for another tenure.

The president of the Church also identified as “Church of The Brethren” Reverend Joel Billi, who paid the Governor courtesy visit at Government House Yola to wish him happy new year, lauded the exemplary leadership qualities of Fintiri and wish him success in the forthcoming general elections.

According to the clergy man in an interview with journalists, Governor Fintiri deserves all the necessary support to succeed having proved to be a leader who have the state and people at heart.

This according to him, the Governor has done through purposeful leadership in the past 3 years that has so far change the narratives which the people testify.

“I can’t say 100 percent from EYN but I am speaking as a leader, the mouth piece of the church. You know one cannot force everybody to give him vote but because we’ve seen what he has done for Adamawa State, we wish he comes onboard to be reelected”

Also in an interview, the Governor Rt.Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri solicited for the prayers and support of the clergy man to succeed in the journey ahead and the Adamawa project to make the state greater.

Fintiri emphasized that irrespective of one’s tribe, ethnicity or religion, the concern now is for the people to come together and stitched the state back to it’s glory days for the benefit of all citizens in the state.

This is the second time renowned clergy men manning popular Churches in Adamawa state are coming out to declare support for the reelection of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

It could be recalled that sometime December last year 2022 similar support came from Adamawa State Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese who doubles as the state Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, who openly made his position known on the candidature of Governor Fintiri.
