

- As He Takes Campaign Train to Malabu, Wuro Bokki, Pariya, Vunoklang
The Adamawa state Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has taken his re-election bid to the rural communities of Malabu, Wuro Bokki and Pariya in Fufore local government and to Vunoklang community in Girei local government of Adamawa state stating that his government within its over three years under review has made basic education in the state absolutely free in order to boost and lift the quality of education in the state and that his administration has made it possible for citizens of the state to seat for WAEC and NECO at no cost at all to families.
Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said, it is time that Nigerians across the country vote into power selfless leaders committed to uplifting and reviving the standard of living of the common man and the economic fortunes of the country. He said, Atiku Abubakar has the competence, capacity and experience to bring about rapid development and to reverse the downward slope in the fortunes of the country that the APC has cornered the country into.
The governor said right from the onset, the intent of his government was to implement a specifically tailored agenda to better the life of the people of the state and that agenda has been attained and that his second term in office will be an impactful extention of the good works he had started across the state.
Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri made this known during his campaign rally at Malabu, in Fufore local government of Adamawa state over the weekend.
During the campaign at Malabu and Pariya, Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said, the 16km water reticulation project from Wuro Bokki to Malabu in Fufore Local Government Area has been completed in collaboration with the European Union and that it would soon be commissioned.
Fintiri who was greeted to a rousing welcome by a mammoth crowd of party faithfuls said his administration has already demonstrated a strong commitment to service delivery and to the welfare of the people of Adamawa state and that he is fully committed to revamping the fortunes of the people of the state in the coming years when re-elected.
Speaking on the renewed intent of his government when re-elected he said, “All attempts to draw the attention of the federal government to construct the federal road passing through Malabu and Belel has fallen on deaf ears but I am optimistic that with Atiku as the son of the soil, Nigerians will enjoy rapid development and the road would be reconstructed.”
He said, “The Adamawa project that I am embarking on is not about PDP or any other party but about implementing projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the common man in the state.
“Let us come together, it is important that we come together push aside bad governance and the party that represents it for the interest of our people and for the development of our dear state.”
“My administration has among other things revitalized education and agricultural sectors, we have also invested in the development of youths and women in Adamawa.
“As everyone can testify now, education in Adamawa is free. We have initiated the payment of WAEC and NECO exams fees for our students and we have also revived the scholarship allowances to our students at various tertiary institutions and also renovated schools across the state as a reflection of our endeavour to give our people hope and secure a better future for posterity.
“My administration has already rehabilitated 80 schools among other projects in the Future local government area alone and will soon commence work on the Mai Turare-Pariya, Daware and Bagale roads.”
Speaking at the occasion the running mate to the governor, Prof Kaletapwa Farauta said, governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is a strong believer in women’s competence, cause and has devoted his time in office to fostering women’s progress in the state.
Farauta said, “Those of you that are yet to collect your voters card should do so, so that we can retain power of this PDP people-centered government that has been created a legacy of progress and youth development.
“This is the best government that Adamawa state has had and we must use our voters card to extend this good governance , development and to secure the future of our children.”
The State Chairman of PDP, Tahir Shehu after receiving about 800 decampees from the All Progressives Congress (APC) tasked the residents of Fufore and Girei local governments to massively vote for PDP and its candidate at all levels in order to sustain the outstanding quality of good governance and legacy projects brought about by governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the PDP in the state.
An elder stateman and former state chairman of the party, Chief Joel Madaki speaking on behalf of the members of the Fufore communities praised the outstanding leadership quality of Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and challenged all stakeholders at the event to reject bad governance as exemplified by the APC at the center and at various place within the country.
He notes that governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has brought an all-round development to the state and that the people of Fufore and Girei are committed to delivering a block vote in massive endorsement of good governance of the PDP in the state.
The governor had earlier taken his campaign tour to Mubi, Numan, Mayo Belwa, among other parts of the state where he promised to continue his people-oriented projects and transforming the state into one of the most respected local economies in the country.
